About Us

Although Vince and Melanie have about 20 years of radio experience between them, this is the first time they've worked together.  They have been friends for 10 years.

Vince is a very visible member of the Las Cruces community.  He moved here 9 years ago and owns Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant-Pan Am and Lorenzo's Cafe.  He's active in our community - supporting NMSU athletics and community organizations.

Melanie should be a familiar name as she got her start in Las Cruces radio in 1994 with Brian Hartz and Hilary Bright at KGRT FM. At KGRT, Mel hosted "Friday Night Fiesta" on KGRT 104 as well as the morning show on KGRT 570.   In 1997, she joined 101 Gold to be their Program Director and afternoon drive host. In 1998, she moved to Northern Virginia and  spent 5 1/2 years in that area.  When her husband retired from the US Army after 21 years, there was no doubt that Las Cruces was where they wanted to be.
